I have informed the blogger who has done this that I am not interested in ethnicity per se and prefer to scrutinize people’s political ideologies and economic motives. Many Jews oppose Zionism and/or are 9/11 Truthers. The Likudnik cabal does not speak for all Jews. A third of the International Solidarity Movement are Jewish.
As a Marxist half my book collection is authored by scholars of Jewish ethnicity. I would have to be an odd Marxist to oppose Jewish people simply based on their ethnic orientation. But as an authentic Marxist I must oppose the capitalist class in its entirety and hence refuse to acquiesce when elites of Jewish ethnicity play the victim card to mask their support for genocides against Arabs and Muslims which are comparable to the genocides in 1930s and 1940s Europe.
I think the documentary record shows that Israel is becoming/has become a regional empire and, again, as a Marxist I must oppose all empires even if I have to be called a racist or anti-Semitic for doing so due to the Genocide Industry’s successful portrayal of Israel as a state comprised of, and supported by, perennial victims.
It took about a century for the United States to begin to be widely understood to be an empire. My intention is to help us diagnose the rise of Israeli empire much quicker than it took to diagnose the U.S.’s orientation to the world so we can formulate strategies to resist it and help the inhabitants of the Middle East decolonize.
The balkanization of the Middle East is ongoing. Israel will rule its empire through indirect rule, as the British eventually did with much of its empire, and as the U.S. rules much of its empire today (e.g. Japan). The Middle East is being broken down based on the millet system of the Ottoman Empire. The Israeli regional empire will be one of ethnic polities being dictated to by a hegemonic Israel (e.g. Lebanon’s and Iraq’s sectarianism).
We must continue to resist. 9/11 Truth is one essential prerequisite for justice in the Middle East.

It is not possible to isolate people's political and economic drives from their biological including ethnic drives. If you are interested in a person's politics or economic circumstances you are intersted in their ethnicity – their most basic location within humanity.

Haha … this refutes the earler claim to not be interested in ethnicity but in politics. And it is not simply because Blakeney cannot uncouple the issues in this case, it's because ethnicity is interested in all politics.

Quoted just to drive it home. Blakeny is interested in ethnicity because he's interested in politics. What he really hopes to put across is that as a good Marxist he does as the Jews tell him and refuses to be interested in his ethnic group's vital interests.

I do agree with fellist that we're born with a tendency toward tribalism. But the "tribe" we're programmed to identify with consists of a few hundred people we know. Anything beyond that is completely arbitrary. That is, there is no more reason to identify with "white" or "Jewish" or "American" people than there is to identify with people who like to go bowling, or people who wear purple socks.

No, you may have an academic interest in some abstract idea about politics or economics without ethnic concerns necessarily arising. But even a minimal interest in a real person requires some consideration of and respect for who he actually is, not in the abstract but in his physical and social reality.

So are dumb people. But regardless of smarts nobody acts intelligently by willing or accepting his own people’s death, dispossession, displacement, disadvantage, dissolution, dilution, etc. It’s reasonable to suppose that the very few who actually do that are mentally ill or corrupted via money, drugs, propaganda, blackmail, etc. by hostile outgroup members.

Why should an evolved trait like nepotism cease to operate at an arbitrary limit like 342? It appears in any case that it doesn’t. People do favour members of their own ethnic and racial groups — or else there’d be no ethnic and racial groups. The sheer scope of human biodiversity and the universality of these tendencies points to an evolutionary origin.

This is false. I can think of many good reasons to identify with and contribute to the survival and wellbeing of my ethnic group. One, I like us. Two, I like our arts and culture and homeland and believe we’re likely to be their best guardian. Three, there are rational reasons if you’re convinced by evolutionary theory to want to ensure the maximal survival of genes like yours into future generations. Four, I just don’t live in a world where bowlers and purple sock wearers strategise against each other, invade each other’s countries, and on a semi-regular basis genocide each other.
I could go on, but really I’d just be saying that I’m normal and don’t want, dammit, my people to go the way of the dodo. And I’m suspicious of those who counsel my reconciliation to that destiny — especially if they’re all eat up about every historical example of other groups going like dodos. I can’t help but note the double standard — it’s why I would challenge Blakeney’s claim to be an anti-racist.

I’ve listened now to the Blakeney interview. There’s a lighthearted interview with ramZpaul here that touches on Blakeney’s problem, thinking he’s sticking it to the man when the man is Jewish and likes virtually everything he says (about White/non-White relations) and has a bigger set of sock puppets who cancel out the awkward 20% (about Jew/Palestinian relations). The man doesn’t seem to mind much whether we’re economic slaves in a Marxoid or a Randroid regime.
